Set of 3 limited edition Tennessee River linocut prints (AND a special gift from the artist!)

$500.00

An exclusive collection of all three “Tennessee River” hand--pulled prints by artist Chris McAdoo.

“When There is Time”
“And We’d Do it All Again”
“Home Before the Sun Goes Down”

Each print is 15” x 22”, printed on archival paper. Each edition (limited to 50) hand-carved, hand-printed, and signed and numbered by Chris McAdoo.

Each print painstakingly carved and printed one color at a time on an 80 year old Vandercook proof press. If you look closely, you’ll notice the Tennessee River, running through Knox County, TN, in the background of each print.

The boat has become a fixture in McAdoo’s work, becoming a universally recognized “vessel” to carry memories, emotions, and points of view through the liminal space between destinations.

The car featured in the print is the original 1952 Oldsmobile “Rocket 88”, owned at one time by Chris’s uncle, and raced properly up and down every road in Knoxville, TN.

The motorcycle is a new addition to McAdoo’s imagery. This is the first bike that he ever owned over twenty years ago, and carried him through wind, snow, heat, and rain to some of his life’s most important moments.

Note - editions sold unframed.
